With over 30 years in the industry, Bob Sole has experience in all areas of window covering, including both traditional and motorized shutters and blinds. Before starting Express Blinds & More, Bob owned a successful window covering company in the High Desert area of San Bernadino. His company there was studied by the University of Redlands School of Business as a case study for graduate students on improving business practices. Bob is a Past President of the High Desert Contractors Association and was nominated for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. After moving to San Diego County, Bob opened Express Blinds & More to serve the local commercial, residential, and government markets. On a personal note, Bob is a former world-class wrestler, having won a gold medal with the U.S. Wrestling Team in the PanAm Games in Venezuela in 1983.

Kelly Fox has a BA in Interior Design, with a minor in Drafting, from California State University, Long Beach, and has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Her specialty is planning and designing window coverings and room décor. As she explains, “If I can draw it, we can make it.” Kelly particularly enjoys working with families and finding that special style that makes homes more inviting and special. One of her most challenging projects was a Renaissance-style bedroom for a client. The research on fabric designs and styles alone took three months to complete, but the results were nothing short of spectacular. Another recent challenge involved designing and creating a series of draperies for an outdoor space; this involved working out angles of fall for the drapery sections to allow for the slant of the flooring and arches in the walls. In her “spare” time Kelly is an accomplished bowler, having placed second in competition in California in 2009.
